Louisiana has found an issue and turned efile off temporarily.
Please do not transmit any LA returns until 5:00pm ET today (January 31st).
Currently, all LA transmissions will reject with code “Vendor” and reason “You have not been approved to submit this MeF Return type yet“. This will be corrected/updated by 5pm ET.
CO
Message from the state of Colorado: We would like to update you on Colorado's status for the TY2023 tax year. As of now, we are not open, but we anticipate opening by mid-February. For products that are approved for the TY2023 e-file, you may start transmitting Colorado returns. However, please inform your users that their returns will only be processed once we officially open. This applies to all income tax types. Information about the opening date will be available on our
website.
Software vendors received the below message from AL DOR.
AL returns can still be transmitted as normal, just note there will be a delay in receiving an acknowledgement.
“Alabama has not started sending out acknowledgments. We plan to start sending them out by the end of the week.“

GEORGIA STATE RETURNS - DELAYED START OF E-FILE (01/29/2024)
The e-file start date for GA state returns has been delayed to February 2nd. Any GA returns transmitted before Feb. 2nd will not receive an acknowledgement until after they open the filing season on February 2nd.
NOW OPEN - PRIOR YEARS & STATE ONLY E-FILES (01/31/2024)
You can now e-file Prior years and state only returns. Reminder You can not do bank product RT on any prior year returns. You can e-file up to 3 prior years, which means you can do 2022, 2021, and 2020. Any other years will have to be mailed.
