GEORGIA STATE RETURNS - DELAYED START OF E-FILE (01/29/2024)
The e-file start date for GA state returns has been delayed to February 2nd.
Any GA returns transmitted before Feb. 2nd will not receive an acknowledgement until after they open the filing season on February 2nd.

Tax Season is well underway and the IRS MEF System appears to be working well (knock on wood). We are now accepting transmissions for prior year returns (20 and 21) and anticipate enabling state-only transmissions either Wednesday or Thursday.
